Chapter 15 – Convenience Store and Specialty Food Retailer Definitions
Effective January 30, 2009, amendment established definitions for a “Convenience Store” and “Specialty Food Retailer.”
Chapter 40 – Add Specialty Food Retailer
Effective January 30, 2009, amendment allowed “Specialty Food Retailer” in the Restricted Business Zone (B-1.)
Chapter 25-050 -Agricultural Uses
Effective November 15, 2008, this amendment increased the agricultural uses allowed in residential and commercial zones.
Chapter 36 – Mobile Home District Regulation
Effective November 1, 2008, this Regulation created the Mobile Home District which enabled previously existing mobile home parks to become conforming uses.
Chapter 20 – Building Lot Standards
Effective November 1, 2008, these amendments set building and lot standards for properties that are a part of the Mobile Home District.
Chapter 155 – Separation Distances
Effective September 1, 2008, this amendment removed the 1 mile separation rule for properties along Route 7 from Lanesville Road to Bridge Street and certain other uses from Lanesville Road to the Brookfield Town Line
Chapter 100 – Route 7 and 202 Curb Cut and Access Management Overlay Zone
Effective July 15, 2008, this amendment gave greater power to the Zoning commission to enforce the curb cuts proposed in a document entitle, “New Milford Route 7 and 202 Curb Cut and Access Management Overlay Zone.”
