The mission of the Sharon Health Department is to prevent disease, maintain a healthy environment and promote community health for the citizens of the Town of Sharon. The Department of Health is responsible for protecting the health of the public including but not limited to: reviewing and approving septic and well installation and repairs, reviewing and approving improvements and additions that may impact the septic and/or well, inspecting restaurants. If you are proposing a septic system there is no formal application process. Instead it shall be coordinated directly with the Sanitarian.
